SPLASH DIGITAL

Spectral occupancy prediction software
These cost effective applications for the PC have been developed by Phasor Design to provide answers to specific questions in radio frequency engineering.

DAP

DAP (Digital Audio Processor) uses the PC sound card to capture stereo audio, process and output audio in stereo.

FM2

Noise analysis software for the PC produced by Phasor Design.

Why simulate ?

To gain an accurate understanding of the key functions of your radio frequency system - modulation, noise, bandwidth occupied, interference - resulting in higher performance and efficient product development. As systems become more complex then the need to verify concepts, before expensive hardware is created, becomes more and more important.

How do these system modelling tools work ?

A detailed model of the signal is constructed and passed from stage to stage simulating modulation, filtering, distortion, added noise etc. At each stage the signal may be viewed as a spectrum, waveform or a text list of voltages.

Interested in ACOLADE ?

ICUCOM, developers of ACOLADE, were purchased by Applied Wave Research in 2000. The product is re-named VSS (Visual System Simulator 2002); check AWR for details.
