Predict measures of performance for radio communications systems and achieve the optimum configuration. SPASH DIGITAL utilises an innovative mathematical technique to simulation radio system spectra, waveforms and symbol streams.
The analogue functions of modulation, filtering and propagation, are modelled
in addition to error rates for multilevel digital transmission.

  • Analogue or Digital Signals
  • Automatic generation of random digital
symbols of any number of levels
  • Symbol Error rate prediction including
    clock recovery
    'S' parameter file compatibility with
    circuit simulators and measured data
  • Third and fifth order intermodulation models
  • Fast and flexible mathematical methods
allow an optimum balance between rapid
    simulation and extended dynamic range

SPLASH is a powerful spectral occupancy prediction tool. Arbitrary modulation waveforms can be easily constructed and applied to either an FM or DSB transmitter. The effect of bandwidth expansion due to the inherent non-linearities of FM and spectral re-growth due to gain compression are internally managed by the program, ensuring good dynamic range and very detailed spectra plotting.

Here a sinewave modulates a wideband frequency modulated transmitter illustrating the detailed results which SPLASH achieves.
